Suburban Fire Tactics will return to FDIC as a four hour workshop.
Captain Jim Silvernail of Metro West Fire Protection District, St. Louis County, MO premiered Suburban Fire Tactics at the 2011 Fire Department Instructor Conference (FDIC) in Indianpolis, IN on Friday, March 25, 2011. This classroom session highlighted strategic principles related to the suburban fire fighting setting. Attendees were motivated to develop and establish effective preferred operating methods for structural firefighting. Captain Silvernail provided a glimpse of “how the rest of the country” is dealing with understaffing and adaptive strategic practices to establish consistent operations.
